Sonocaddie V300

The Sonocaddie V300 Golf GPS displays a 3D color picture of each hole. This is a huge advantage for course management; knowing distances is great, but it might be better to see all the targets in front of you and be able to visualize where to hit each shot.

The V300 shows the golfer’s position in real time (a little golfer icon appears on the screen), and the distances to all key targets are displayed and updated continuously as you proceed down the fairway.

AutoPlay

The Sonocaddie AutoPlay lives up to its name and comes preloaded with all available courses worldwide. If you want a golf GPS device that is ready right out of the box, this is it. There is also no need to search for your course as the Auto Play will automatically your course for you. Well, actually, it will locate any course located within a range of five to 50 miles. So you might have to search through a few courses, but you should find your course quickly. The AutoPlay will not only give you the distances to the front and the back of the green, but with the AutoPlay’s fabulous Greenview function you will find the yardage to the perfect spot on the green. With Birdie Membership, you also get the digital scorecard and game analysis feature.

XV2

Although the Sonocaddie XV2does not have the flashy color graphics of the previous two models, it does, nonetheless, provide all the key features needed in a golf gps device. It gives you the distance to all critical targets such as bunkers, water hazards, the back and front of the green, and by pushing the “green button” you can see an enlarged view of the green for better target selection. It also allows you to add your own personal targets as you play the course (2 green targets and up to 6 non-green targets on each hole). And don’t forget the shot distance function that will allow you to determine exactly how far you hit each club in the bag; the XV2 has it, and you should take advantage of this feature as much as possible. No extensive game analysis here, but there is a digital scorecard to keep track of your round.

V100

The Sonocaddie V100 is the most basic of the Sonocaddie golf gps models but it can still do all the critical tasks: gives the distance to the green, the distance to all necessary targets, has a shot distance function, allows self mapping points, and displays icons to indicate targets and hazards.
